Gastrointestinal (GI) & Liver Clinic

We provide diagnosis and treatment services for gastrointestinal and liver diseases, as well as consultations on gastrointestinal tract and liver disorders such as chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, chronic inflammation of intestine, inflammatory bowel disease, vomiting, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, swallowing problems, feeding intolerance, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and cholestasis in pediatric patients from birth to 15 years of age.

Our experts use modern tools for diagnosis and treatment including:

1. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and ileocolonoscopy for diagnosis and treatment intervention.
2. 24-hour pH-impedance monitoring in patients with gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).
3. Hydrogen breath test for diagnosing small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or carbohydrate malabsorption.
4. Highresolutionesophageal manometry for measuring pressures and fluid movement in the esophagus from upper to lower esophageal sphincter.
5. High resolution anorectal manometry for evaluating anal sphincter function, anorectal refluxes and coordination of anorectal movement during defecation.
6. Transient elastography, non-invasive method for assessing liver fibrosis and fatty liver.

2. Check your insurance eligibility on the 3^rd floor, Mahitalathibesra Building.
3. Contact our staff at GI and Liver Clinic from 07.00-11.00 am.
4. Measure height, weight, vital signs and take a queue number ticket.
5. If additional examinations are required, please arrive 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

6. After seeing the doctor, give your medical document to the counter in front of the examination room. Wait for appointment slip, prescription and others.
7. Make payment and pick up your medicine on the 11^th floor, Her Majesty the Queen’s 80^th Birthday Anniversary Building.
