White Canvas Workshop 2025
On December 22, 2025, the International Relations Division organized the “White Canvas Workshop” for pediatric patients and staff at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health. The event was held in collaboration with White Canvas Thailand, a joint project between the Eastern Culture Foundation (ECF), Japan, and Palette Artspace, Bangkok, with support from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand. The workshop was led by Ms. Kyoko Abe, a renowned Japanese painter, who guided the participants through creative painting activities.
Dr. Worakan Promphan, Deputy Director, together with the International Relations team, welcomed Ms. Kyoko Abe, Ms. Kazuko Yasuhira and Ms. Achiraya Jongrak from the White Canvas Thailand Committee, and Ms. Sachiko Matsumoto from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand. Their participation reflected strong cultural cooperation and a shared commitment to supporting children’s well-being through art.
The workshop aimed to provide a safe and inspiring space for children and youth to express their creativity, build confidence, and explore their artistic potential, while offering emotional support in a healthcare setting.
