QSNICH Welcomes ASEAN & WHO Delegates for Breastfeeding Best Practices Exchange
Delegates from Association of Southeast Asian Nations, World Health Organization (Brunei, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Philippines, & Singapore) & Department of Health who attended ASEAN Breastfeeding Meeting Forum 2025 visited QSNICH to explore best practices in breastfeeding support.
The lectures were given by Dr. Siraporn Sawasdivorn, QSNICH Senior Consultant & Ms. Siriluck Thavornvattana, Head Nurse of Inpatient Department. The group visited key facilities such as Lactation Clinic, Human Milk Bank, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) & Neonatal Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (NIMCU) led by Dr. Meera Khorana, Senior Consultant of Neonatology and Breastfeeding Specialty Center.
This visit underscored the importance of cross-border knowledge sharing and reaffirmed QSNICH’s ongoing commitment to advancing maternal and child health. The institute’s outstanding breastfeeding outcomes and the team’s dedication have positioned QSNICH as a national leader in promoting breastfeeding as a key service plan index—helping reduce infant mortality rates and improve newborn health across Thailand.
