Signing Ceremony for the MOU on the Establishment of the Collaboration Center of International Training Hub for Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement (TPVR)

On April 5, 2023, the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health (which includes Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Rajavithi Hospital, and Central Chest Institute of Thailand), Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Songklanagarind Hospital, and hospitals under the Office of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health (which includes Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital, Suratthani Hospital, and Hatyai Hospital) signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the establishment of the Collaboration Center of International Training Hub for Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement at PSU CSHD: One World One Heart, Unite for Mankind Conference, Songklanagarind Hospital, Songkhla Province.

The objectives of the MOU are to enhance catheterized pulmonary valve replacement skills by providing training for both national and international medical personnel, as well as supporting academic activities, research, benchmarking, developing a referral system, and improving patients’ access to healthcare.
