- Inpatient unit [S6A]      Pediatric surgery department ( S .6A ) is situated on the left side of the sixth floor of Queen Sirikit National Institute of child health building ,consist of thirty ordinary beds for the patients which have problem in surgery such as cardiothoroxic surgery neurosurgery , urosurgery , plastic surgery and general pediatric surgery ; at age of 3 months to 3 years, treat by fourteen expert specialist surgeons .      The mother or the female cousin of the patient will be allowed to stay and look after the patient during admistion under supervision of profesional nurses . The mother will be taught to take care of the patient before operation , after operation and after discharge from the hospital by the nurses .      There is a recreation room with education toys for the patient to play which is good for relexing and stimulating child development .Time of visit :10.00 AM to 8.00 PM.
