Department of Otolaryngology      Department of Otolaryngology provides pediatric ENT services, including out-patient, in-patient, surgery, audiology and speech pathology units. Surgery are performed by using high technology equipment such as microscopy, bronchoscopy, fiberoptic bronchoscope, endoscopic sinus surgery and CO2 laser surgery      Audiological evaluation are available for every child from birth to late adolescent, with high standard techniques corresponding to ages, for example: Auditory Brainstem Response Audiometry (ABR), Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and Pure Tone Audiometry. In addition, high risk newborn hearing screning has been done since 1999 using Otoacoustic Emissions and ABR. Furthermore, hearing habilitation /rehabilitation has been done by hearing aids fitting with Desired Sensational Level and Real ear measurement technique together with periodic follow up .       Speech pathological units provides speech habilitation for the patients with hearing and speech disorders .High technology instruments ,such as Dr .speech and Nasometer ,has been used for evaluation and remediation .      Department of Otolaryngology is affiliated with Ramathibodi Medical School in training for third year residents in Paediatric Otolaryngology
